About

Built for disciplined investing.

Oceancrest Capital turns risk discipline into consistent, repeatable returns. Our rules-based, multi-strategy approach removes human bias from every decision.

The team

Experience. Discipline. Process.

The Oceancrest team brings experience across portfolio construction, risk management, institutional asset management, and quantitative research, with a shared focus on systematic decision-making and disciplined risk control.

Neville Hicks, CFA

Founder & Portfolio Manager

Neville has over 20 years of experience across investment banking and asset management, advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional clients in the offshore market. He developed Oceancrest’s rules-based, multi-strategy investment framework, focused on systematic allocation across asset classes, drawdown control, and risk-adjusted portfolio construction.

Prior to founding Oceancrest, Neville was a founding partner of Rockwater Capital, and prior to that served as Director of Investments at one of the Cayman Islands’ largest independent asset managers, working across equities, fixed income, private debt, hedge funds, and alternative investments. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Connor Wyatt, CFA, CPA

Analyst

Connor supports Oceancrest’s quantitative research, strategy development and construction, and risk evaluation processes. His work focuses on strategy testing, historical data analysis, drawdown measurement, and correlation analysis across the fund’s underlying strategy components.

Before joining Oceancrest, Connor worked in assurance and advisory at PwC and in underwriting at Greenlight RE in the Cayman Islands. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba and holds both CPA and CFA designations.
